Welcome - About The Firm
The firm was established in 1981 by Mary McQueen, a graduate of Edinburgh University in Law and Languages. From qualification as a solicitor, Mary worked with the Bank of Scotland for a number of years gaining experience in banking law, conveyancing, international law and security work. She also established the firm during this period and, since leaving the Bank of Scotland, has grown the firm into a successful business with a client base which is increasing rapidly due to referrals of new clients by satisfied existing clients.
Dorothy Mullally, also a partner, is a graduate of Dundee University in Law. Dot worked for some time in private practice before also joining the Bank of Scotland where she, like Mary, became a Senior Solicitor specialising in Debt Recovery but with substantial additional experience in banking law, conveyancing and security work. Dot then set up her own practice but thereafter joined Mary R McQueen & Co.
The firm is a firm specialising in residential conveyancing. We will also undertake executries and draft Wills for clients. We like to think that we offer a very personal and efficient service to our clients.
